Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy covers the BlockInvo-iQ website at blockinvo-iq.com and the BlockInvo-iQ application.

Information we collect

• Account identity: your name and email address, handled through Firebase Authentication.
• Business profile: the business name, address, tax and payment-instruction details you enter.
• Customer records you enter: names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses and tax identifiers of your own customers.
• Document content: your invoices, quotes, payments, balances and receipts.
• Usage and security data: IP address, request metadata and request identifiers used for security and troubleshooting.
• Messages you send through the Service, where WhatsApp, SMS or email sending is enabled: the recipient, the message text, and delivery metadata such as channel, delivery status and provider message identifiers.
• AI assistant content, where the assistant is enabled: the text of the prompts you send to the AI provider.
• Local and session storage: authentication tokens and interface preferences stored in your browser.

How we use information

• To provide and operate the service.
• To enable payments you initiate through third-party payment providers.
• To send messages that you initiate.
• To show analytics for your own account.
• For security, fraud prevention and debugging.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases

We process personal information to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, with your consent where consent is required, and to meet legal obligations.

Third-party service providers

We rely on the following types of service providers, each acting under its own terms and privacy policy:

• Google and Firebase — authentication and infrastructure.
• Paystack — payment processing, where online payments are enabled.
• Google — AI processing, where the AI assistant is enabled.
• Meta / WhatsApp — message delivery, where WhatsApp is enabled.
• Resend — email delivery, where email sending is enabled.
• Arkesel — SMS delivery, where SMS is enabled.
• Hostinger — website and application hosting.

Card data

BlockInvo-iQ does not collect, process or store card numbers, CVV, or full card credentials. Where online payments are enabled, card details are entered on the payment provider’s own secure page.

International transfers

Some of the service providers we use operate outside Ghana. Where your information is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and business data for as long as your account is active. When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep certain financial and transaction records for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Backups are cleared on a rolling schedule.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email support@blockinvo-iq.com. You may also complain to Ghana’s Data Protection Commission.

Security

We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege database roles, together with controls applied by our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim any specific security certification.

Children

BlockInvo-iQ is for businesses and is not directed at children.

Your responsibilities as a data controller

You decide what customer information you enter into BlockInvo-iQ and why. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for that information and for giving your own customers any notices they are entitled to.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
